Diwali Decor Ideas

Diwali in our house is a time for celebrating the festival of light with family and friends.

I like the traditional diyas and brassware and usually set them out early in the month so that the anticipation can build up.

This beautiful kundan work glass lamp was a gift from my Mother a few Diwalis ago and it occupies pride of place amongst the other diyas.

But since we live in Northern California, our Diwali decor tends to take on a more global flavour.

Think flickering tea lights in pretty crystal holders, Moroccan glassware and lots of lanterns that add glamour  to the occasion.
